The Juan María Céspedes Botanical Garden is less than an hour north of Buga, set in an estate spanning about 380 acres of land. The Botanical Garden is dedicated to research and conservation, and there visitors can observe birds and butterflies while walking along nature trails surrounded by orchids, palms, and heliconias (often referred to as “false birds of paradise”).
