MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS IN CALI

The great importance of music and dance in Cali has earned this city the title of the 'world capital of salsa', a catchy rhythm felt and danced in a unique manner. The identity of the capital of Valle del Cauca stems from the vast sugarcane fields that surround it. Its attraction for business events was recognised in the 2013 the British Financial Times newspaper survey, which ranked Cali 10th among 127 American cities with a positive future for  investors. According to the Valle del Pacifico convention centre, Cali has more than 60 hotels offering around 3,000 rooms, while connectivity is strong, given the 77 weekly international flights and 430 domestic frequencies. This city, the third largest in the country and one of the main commercial, agricultural and industrial centers of Colombia, is located near the Buenaventura seaport terminal, on the Pacific Coast.
