COLOMBIA
Uramba Bahía Málaga National Natural Park is considered one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. This bay, with its calm and deep waters, is where humpback whales reproduce after traveling from Antarctica to the Colombian Pacific. It can be reached in one hour by speedboat from Buenaventura. The park, covering 47,094 hectares, is home to birds, reptiles, and other species.
The park was declared a natural park due to being the destination where between 500 and 700 humpback whales arrive each year. It consists of 90% marine ecosystems and a few coastal areas dominated by mangroves.
Bahía Málaga is recognized as one of the main migration destinations for the humpback whale, which arrives in its waters to give birth to its calves during the season from August to October.
Each of the country's regions offers a different rhythm so you can do what you like most. With adventure tourism, numerous cultural activities and excellent gastronomy, we have everything to make your trip an unforgettable experience.
