Cartago

In the north of the department of Valle del Cauca, on the banks of the La Vieja River, Cartago is a municipality that connects the plains filled with sugarcane fields to the coffee-growing mountains of the neighboring departments of Risaralda and Quindío. Founded on August 9, 1540, by Marshal Jorge Robledo, Cartago has an average temperature of 29 ºC.
