Because the Nevado del Ruiz is an active volcano, it causes the water at Iron Mine (two miles above sea level) flow at 145°F. From this location, it is channeled to the Tierra Viva Hot Springs at 0.12 miles above sea level, where travelers relax in thermal pools with temperatures between 95°F and 106°F. Massages, restaurants, and accommodations are also available to visitors.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
