A place to appreciate panoramic views of Mitú and the surrounding jungle is located five kilometers south of the town center. This is Odocabeba Hill (Urania), a rock formation 200 meters high that is part of the Guiana Highlands and is home to the indigenous community of Urania, of the Cubeo ethnicity. There, you can see, among other birds, tanagers and guans.
