The Metropolitan Basilica of Santa Fe de Antioquia, built between 1797 and 1837, is known for its 154-foot-tall tower. During a recent renovation of this Spanish Renaissance-style temple, original coloring and gold leaf was found under layers of white paint. Religious shields were also discovered hidden in the altars.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
