Alejandro Obregón, born in Barcelona (Spain), grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia, and became a painter. Part of his legacy can be appreciated in the works ‘Earth, Water, and Air,’ ‘There Goes the Alligator,’ ‘Symbolism of Barranquilla,’ and ‘The Mulatta,’ which are located in the Mizrahi building on Carrera 53 with Calle 76 at the Amira de la Rosa Municipal Theater, in the old Customs building, and in the well-known bar-restaurant La Cueva, respectively.
