The Silva House of Poetry is said to have been built around 1715, during the colonial times. Declared a National Monument in 1995, it is a tribute to the poet José Asunción Silva, who lived and died here at age 30. Visitors will discover a poetry library, an auditorium, and a music library.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
