Also known as the Sentinel of the Valley, Caicedonia is located in the eastern part of the department and is part of the municipalities of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
Its average temperature is 16º Celsius, perfect for enjoying a coffee in the main park or simply relaxing in one of its comfortable, historic houses.
This municipality has three Catholic parishes: Nuestra Señora del Carmen, San Judas Tadeo, Santísima Trinidad, and the Santa María Madre de Dios Sanctuary located in the Montegrande hamlet. Here, you can visit the María Garden – Religious Tourism, recreational parks, a fishing club, and enjoy its cuisine, which is based on sancocho de gallina.
