The Banco de la República’s Calima Gold Museum features displays of pieces of jewelry, pottery, stone, bone, and shell from the Ilama, Yotoco, and Sonso pre-Hispanic cultures, who settled in the archaeological area known as Calima. Hunters and gatherers inhabited the area 9,000 years ago.
