The characteristic sound of the marimba’s chonta (palm wood) tablets and reed resonators spreads throughout Colombia thanks to the musical and vocal performances of Afro-Latino groups of the Pacific. Since 2010, Marimba music and traditional chants from Colombia's South Pacific belong to UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
