Travelers enjoy birdwatching in the Munchique National Nature Park, where 500 bird species, including 37 types of hummingbirds, congregate. The Park is in El Tambo, 38 miles west of Popayán.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
