The Route of the Sun and the Fruit is a tourist route that starts by crossing the Fernando Gómez Martínez Tunnel, 4.6 km in length, a project that connects the center of the department with Urabá and the western region of Antioquia. Along the way, visitors pass through the municipalities of Santa Fe de Antioquia, Olaya, San Jerónimo, and Sopetrán, where there are ecological parks and camping areas.

In Santa Fe de Antioquia, tourists can cross the Cauca River on the Puente Colgante de Occidente, stroll through the cobblestone streets of the town, and try tamarind sweets.
