‘Village of Weavers’. That is the meaning of Curití in the Guane language. In this municipality, located about forty minutes north of Barichara by land, an industry has been developed around the production of sacks for carrying potatoes. Now, travelers can buy handmade fique items such as tablecloths, placemats, and rugs, to which colors have been added.

It is a beautiful place to relax and walk while enjoying nature. It is very well maintained, admission is free, and it is safe for walking. It lacks some signage, but it is a very nice walk. It is very close to the El Cacique Shopping Center. You have to check it out.
The majesty of Chicamocha Canyon never ceases to amaze me, and in Panachi you can enjoy it in all its splendor.
