COLOMBIA
Colombian Tourism boasts incredible places in our geography, and there are always unexplored spaces that become trending due to their beauty. In this case, Chiribiquete is a natural beauty that has been designated as a national park and has gained prominence because tourism from the air will allow visitors to experience this enchanting place.
Considered one of the largest centers of biodiversity in the country and a UNESCO mixed heritage site, it boasts the highest number of pictograms painted by indigenous people of the region. Many compare this rock art in the heart of the Amazon to the Sistine Chapel for its majesty and rock design.
This land, rich in stories and one of the most important biodiversity ecosystems in the country, is about to open up for tourism without affecting the natural ecosystem, focusing on aerial tourism, scheduled to begin in June 2019. This form of travel ensures minimal impact on the natural ecosystem visited and has the endorsement of Colombia's National Parks.
