COLOMBIA
Often referred to as “the nose of Popayán,” the Clock Tower stands on the southwest corner of Caldas Park. The one-handed clock was built between 1673 and 1682 and donated by the priests of the city in 1737. The earthquake of 1983 caused damage, which was repaired without moving a single one of the 90,000 bricks that form the structure.
