There are also a number of ancient churches and popular monuments that you can tour, such as the monument dedicated to India Catalina, los Zapatos Viejos, and los Pegasos.
On your walks around the city, you’ll be able to enjoy the local music and rhythms that fill the streets and the handicrafts that adorn the local shops.
When night falls over the city, the charm of Cartagena’s colonial area is perfect for taking a horse drawn carriage ride, an experience that will take you back in time.
In addition to Cartagena’s historic influences, the city has a vibrant present reflected, in part, by the important, world-class events it hosts.
One such event is the International Music Festival, or Hay Festival, which is celebrated in January and brings together the main proponents of instrumental music and international literature.

- The weather in Cartagena de Indias is enviable. The city is comfortably warm or hot most of the year. The temperature generally fluctuates between 73 and 86º F.
- While it’s true that you can enjoy Cartagena’s beautiful weather any time of year, the best time to visit is between the end of November and the end of April, since it barely rains during this time of year.
- Getting around is easy, especially by taxi, since there aren’t any great distances between the different tourist areas. However, we recommend that you verify taxi prices prior to any trip in order to avoid any unexpected inconveniences or costs.

Desde el momento de la reserva y desplazamiento a la playa, existe una comunicación constante con las personas de logística, los cuales cumplen con todo el itinerario escogido. El lugar cuenta con un espacio tranquilo y cómodo para descansar, disfrutar de la playa y desconectarte. La atención del personal es excelente, la locación cuenta con todo lo que necesitas (baño, duchas, piscina, música) y la comida es deliciosa! Definitivamente para repetirlo.
En nuestro primer día en Medellín, queríamos obtener la mejor manera de hacerlo con un recorrido a pie de la ciudad de Medellín + teleféricos. Nuestro guía era David, que hablaba un inglés perfecto y estaba muy bien informado. Fuimos al centro de la ciudad a Botero Plaza.
Durante mi visita a la Candelaria y el recorrido guiado magistralmente por la maravillosa Lizeth de GranColombia Tour pude disfrutar de un tiempo super aprovechable, donde aprendí como fue fundada la ciudad y como se han gestado luchas y luchas para poder hoy recorerlas con libertad y segura. Cada espacio, cada parque, plaza, negocio o avenida fue explicado con mucha claridad y respeto por la historia y lo que ha implicado para el pueblo colombiano.
Es realmente un deber - hacer cuando estás visitando Cali. Te recogen en tu hotel. ¡A solo dos horas de viaje a San cipriano con una parada intermedia para comer un delicioso desayuno colombiano! Cuando llegamos, tuvimos que tomar algo como un tren hecho por nosotros mismos para llegar a la ciudad, que fue realmente increíble. Puedes ver algo de naturaleza hermosa en el camino. La pequeña caminata a las cascadas y al río es de nuevo muy hermosa. Disfrutarás todo el camino de regreso en un tubo en el río. Cuando llegas te vuelven a encontrar una deliciosa comida colombiana.
